Meet Nathan.

My name is Nathan Saucedo, and I am proud to be a lifelong Kentuckian with deep roots in the Bluegrass. I grew up on my family’s 200-year-old farm in Casey County, where we raised dairy cattle, tobacco, and peppers. Those early years instilled in me a strong work ethic, a commitment to community, and a profound appreciation for Kentucky’s agricultural heritage.

After high school, I attended the University of Kentucky and pursued a career in social work, ultimately earning my Master’s Degree in Social Work and becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. For more than 30 years, I have served individuals and families across Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan through mental health services. My work has included both clinical care and more than two decades in senior leadership. I currently serve as Assistant to the CEO of a community mental health center serving 10 Kentucky counties, helping ensure that accessible, high-quality care remains available to those who need it most.

In addition to my professional work, I am deeply involved in community service and local history. I serve on multiple boards—including as President of the Raged Edge Community Theater—and I am active in historical preservation efforts through the James Harrod Trust and the Harrodsburg Historical Society. I am also honored to hold a Kentucky Colonel commission and to serve on two boards appointed by the Governor. I live in Harrodsburg with my spouse, where I have spent the past four years restoring a historic home and becoming further connected to the community I love.

Today, I am continuing my lifelong commitment to service as a candidate for the Kentucky State House of Representatives, 55th District. Guided by the values I learned on the farm—hard work, fairness, faith, and integrity—I believe in thoughtful, community-driven public policy and in working across differences to support the people of Kentucky. Throughout my career, whether in therapy, leadership, or community work, my focus has always been the same: to listen, to serve, and to help build a stronger, more united Commonwealth for everyone.
